Brett

Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Grew up in Ridgewood, N.J. Attended Clark University in Worcester, MA where I developed an insatiable appetite for travel and pursuit of beautiful things. Stayed in Worcester after getting B.A. in Psychology to work in the music business. During this time my appreciation for glass art as a collector and salesman (it's hard to earn a living in the music biz) was augmented by my first class on the torch (1998).

My passion ignited I was unable to stop working with glass. Worked full time as a color-photo printer until I could afford to quit and devote full time to glass. Had a successful first show January 2002 and never looked back. In fall 2002 I started working full time with Hot Glass (Glass Blowing) at Sterling Glass Works in Worcester, MA. After working three years in the Hot Shop (assisting, training interns, and making my own work) moved to the mountains of Colorado to spend more time on my torch and take all my glass work to the next level.
