Classroom Rules:
No shorts or open toed shoes.
No Food allowed. Non-alcoholic drinks are allowed in closed top containers only.
Safety Glasses are required. We provide them, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring them.
Stained glass is not an appropriate activity for pregnant women.

Mosaic Garden Stone Class
Th. 4/24 or Fri. 4/25 6:30P
The air is getting warm and flowers are coming up. It is the perfect time to dress up your garden or flower bed with a hand made Mosaic garden Stone. Pick a design designs (gnome, lighthouse, pineapple, dolphin, dragonfly, and many more), then using glass, beads, shells, sea glass, and other materials let us show you 2 different ways to make pictures in concrete. This is a messy class so wear play clothes! Please note: Due to the curing time of the concrete projects may be picked up approximately onw week after the class.
$60 per person* Ages 7 and up (when accompanied by a participating adult).

In this self directed workshop you can finally take on The Project that you just haven't had time for (A cabinet door? A wind spinner?), or the one that is a little above your skill level (a lamp shade?) and GET IT DONE! Our professional instructor with more than 40 years of experience will help you with your design, glass choices, and construction techniques. All necessary tools are supplied. (Consumables like glass and solder are the students responsibility. We don't require you buy them from us but you DO get a 10% discount on purchases for the length of the class.)
$120 per person* Ages 13 and up only please. No shorts or open toed shoes.

Yard Art 2 Th. 5/1 & 8 or 2 Fri. 5/2 & 9 6:30 P Stained glass in the garden? Absolutely! In week one of this class, pick a theme, (house numbers, mushrooms, flowers, and more)and we will show you how to cut and shape glass. After a little foiling homework (we will show you how to do that too), in week 2 we will solder the components together and assemble them in a metal frame, just in time for spring planting! $85 per person* Ages 13 and up only please. One Night
Wind Chimes Th. 5/15 or Fr. 5/16 6:30P Who doesn't love gentle music of windchimes on the breeze? In this class you will pick one of 3 types of wind chime (stained glass, etched glass, or driftwood) and we will show you how to cut and smooth the glass, drill the glass to hang the chimes, and assemble beaded connectors to dress up your creation. When you leave this 2 1/2-3 hour class you will have made your own one-of-a-kind artwork perfect for decorating or gifting. $50 per person* Ages 13 and up only please. No shorts or open toed shoes. 3D Wind Spinners

In week one we will show you how to cut and shape your glass into one of 6 different designs (hearts, squares, deco, and more). After a little foiling homework (we will show you how before you leave week one). Week two is for assembly. We will show you how to do this somewhat complex task without tears. When you leave week two you will have a brilliant addition for your garden, porch, or just to hang in a window! Please Note: The assembly process can be difficult for those with no soldering experience.

In this introduction to lamp making we will teach you how to create a lamp pattern, and assemble a small Tiffany-style accent lamp. We supply all the materials, including the lamp base. You bring enthusiasm, and artistic flair. In classes 1 & 2, after you pick a design from several available, we will cut , grind and foil the 4-6 panels. In week 3 the panels will be soldered together with attention to precision, and in week 4 we will show you how to assemble the lamp shades, including some tricks to to help out when you don't have enough hands.

Thurs. 6/5 or Fri. 6/6 6:30P Let us teach you the art of Tiffany Style (copper foiled) stained glass in this one night Make Your Own class. No experience is needed. Pick one of 6 designs (Gnome, Butterfly, Lady Bug, Cross, Dragonfly, or Cardinal) and we will take you step by step through the process. Red, White, And Blue Suncatchers

Just in time to celebrate Independence Day! No experience is needed for this one night Make Your Own class. Pick one of several designs (Star, Uncle Sam Gnome, Banner, Heart) and let us teach you, step by step, the art of Tiffany Style (copper foiled) stained glass. And you can pick any colors...they don't have to be Red, White, and Blue! All materials are included. When you leave this 3 hour class you will have made your own one-of-a-kind suncatcher perfect for decorating of gift giving!.

Open Studio Hours gives intermediate to advanced glass workers bench space, use of all studio tools and equipment (including glass saws, sand blaster, and drills), and expert advice from a 40+ year professional stained glass artist. Meet up with friends, or just get out of the house to pursue your bliss. Storage for projects and tools available.
10% discount on purchases of supplies (glass, foil, solder, etc.) made while attending Open Studio.
Project Packs $10 each. Each pack contains enough material to make 2-3 average suncatchers: 3 Yards 1/4" or 7/32" copper foil, 1 Yard 60/40 solder, and 1 pound scrap glass of your choice.

If Barbara Connors' Art Glass cancels a class for any reason registered students will be offered the choice of a refund on the class fees, or transferring the fees to another class within 12 months.
If a student cancels their participation in class with 24 hours or more prior notification students will be offered the choice of a refund on the class fees, or transferring the fees to another class within 12 months.
Students who notify Barbara Connors Art Glass with less than 24 hours notice, or who are "No -shows" will not be offered refunds or class transfers.
If Barbara Connors' Art Glass cancels a class for any reason registered students will be offered the choice of a refund on the class fees, or transferring the fees to another class within 12 months.
